How Can We Make Our School More Environmentally Friendly?

In Fosse Way School we are trying to be more environmentally friendly. Can you give us some suggestions for things like: saving energy, saving water, reducing pollution,

  1. We could have a compost heap because we just throw away the excess fruit & vegetables the infants have. This compost could be used on the new gardens.

  5. we should turn off all the electricity before we go out the classroom especially the smart board projectors because teachers/support staff leave them on

  6. Hello everyone, i think that when we go out of classrooms we should turn off the lights and make sure the interactive white board is off. For all the fruit that the infants haven’t eatin we should compost it. bye

  8. we should turn off all lights, interactive whiteboards, laptops, computers and anything electrical off when we leave the classroom.

  10. I think that we should plant more flowers and trees because they take in the carbondioxide and let out the oxegen. They would also be nice to look at, and they would attract more animals and incects.

  11. i think we should recycle more because it gets burnt and lets of toxic fumes and destroys the o-zone layar RECYCLE!!!!!

  14. i think we should have taps that turn on whan you put your hands under and when your hands go out from underneath it should turn off!
